Winter on the Avenue

Winter Park traditionally kicks off the holiday season at Winter on the Avenue. Be there as Park Avenue is transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with a tree-lighting, carolers and holiday movies under the stars, presented by the Enzian Theater. This year’s movies? “How The Grinch Stole Christmas,” followed by “Elf.”

Two new features promise to bring extra fun: In partnership with the City of Winter Park, snow slides in the West Meadow will be provided by the Winter Park CRA and Parks & Recreation Department and s’mores roasting stations will be up and running with help from the Winter Park Fire-Rescue Department. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Winter on the Avenue without a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus – a treat for the young and old.
