Vision boards, art programs, chess club and more
Make 2021 your child’s best year yet. Sign them up for Seeing 20/20 in 2021, a virtual program that will offer teach them to create a vision board for the new year. Vision boards are great tools to help set goals and organize tasks, both short term and long term. If your child has dreams for 2021, a vision board can help them achieve them.
Kids can also cultivate their artistic talents on January 9 during A Starry Night, A Peaceful Night, a program that will show kids how to recreate Vincent Van Gogh’s famous painting, “Starry Night.” Gather the family and create your own masterpiece together, or participate as individuals and compare your artistic renditions when the event is over.
During January, the library continues to host all events virtually to ensure our facilities are safe for library customers and staff. All locations are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for essential services, including returns, grab-and-go service and computer usage for up to one hour. For the latest updates on the library, visit ocls.info/information-regarding-covid-19.
