Leaf It!
Leu Gardens
June 1-July 31

During June and July 2022, a very special scavenger hunt will take place in Leu Gardens and all you have to do is find a leaf.  Well, not just any leaf. A special leaf is your guide. Find the leaf and you will be rewarded with really fun facts about the gardens. There are over 20 of this special leaf to find. It’s a great way to learn about some of the plants, a little bit of history and more! A fun scavenger hunt for all ages and a great teaching tool for children. Kids can come dressed up in their favorite explorer or detective costumes. You will be given a special map to help you guide you. Good luck! Daytime garden admission applies: $15 adult, $10 child (ages 4 – 17 years) which includes this scavenger hunt. Leu Gardens’ Members and all children 3 years of age and under receive free admission.

Kids Night Out

It’s KIDS ONLY (ages 5-12) at Kids Night Out! The fun begins in the Discovery Center at 6:30 p.m. Everyone will get to enjoy meeting cool animals up close and taking a flashlight tour of the Zoo. We’ll play games, make a craft, and enjoy a snack, all before the grownups come back! Annual Pass Holders: $25 per child | Non-Pass Holders: $30 per child

2022 Applause Awards

Celebrate Florida’s top talent from 30 high schools during Dr. Phillips Center’s Applause Awards in the Walt Disney Theater, directed by Broadway veteran Ray Roderick and hosted by Broadway actress Rachel York.

Night Hike at the Zoo

Experience the sights and sounds of the Zoo at night during this exciting nocturnal adventure! The evening will begin in the Discovery Center with up-close animal encounters. Fascinating nightlife will come to light as we venture into the Zoo for a guided flashlight tour and explore the Zoo after dark. This is a great program for families, but because it is a late-night program, children must be five years or older to attend. $20 for ages 5–12 | $25 for ages 13 and up. Annual Pass Holders receive a $5 discount per person.
