Florida Black Bear Habitat

A Bear-y Good Time!

In early August, annual pass holders to the Central Florida Zoo received an extra-special preview of the Zoo’s new Florida black bear habitat. Guests observed these fascinating creatures while Zoo officials educated families about the black bear’s habitat and behavioral patterns. The exhibit is now open to the public. As the bears become accustomed to their new habitat, there will be limited viewing hours beginning at 9:30 a.m.
