Easter Eggstravaganza at Gaylord Palms

Easter Eggstravaganza will return to Gaylord Palms Resort, just in time to celebrate Spring! The resort will blossom with enormous eggs, pool parties, a bunny scavenger hunt and meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny himself, offering the ideal setting for families to enjoy the season.

The Easter Bunny is checking in and he can’t wait to meet guests visiting for Easter Eggstravaganza. Families will want to stop by to meet him and snap a photo in a beautiful springtime setting. Children also will delight in receiving a special Easter surprise during their visit!

With 4.5 acres of atrium gardens, there are lots of places to hide, and a family of silly bunnies has done just that in the Easter Bunny Scavenger Hunt. Guests will need to hop to it to find them all!

Everybunny is sure to have a fun time at the Hop-A-Long Pool Party inside Cypress Springs Water Park. Guests can splash and celebrate with Easter pool games, prizes, sing-a-longs and line dances with the Easter Party Peeps! In addition to the springtime fun, Cypress Springs Water Park features a zero-entry family pool, treehouse water play structure with four water slides, the Big Cypress tower with an AquaDrop slide and two racing slides, and The Wake Zone – a Double FlowRider with a surfable simulated wave.

NEW FOR 2019! The Royal Egg Court Character Breakfast welcomes guests to experience an egg-straordinary breakfast fit for royalty, hosted by the King of Easter! Guests will be introduced to the silly characters that make up the Easter Egg Court along with music, fun and games as they enjoy the award-winning Villa de Flora buffet. As the breakfast progresses, guests will help solve an Easter mystery in this interactive experience featuring the spoiled and sweet Candy Countess, the mysterious and aloof Earl of Chocolate and the uppity and silly Duchess of Daffodils. (Reservations available now via OpenTable® for select dates in March and April. Overnight stay not required.)

The Candy Countess will be hosting a frozen yogurt social at Honeybells on Saturdays. Guests can purchase fro-yo with fresh, seasonal toppings while they frolic with the sweetest member of the Easter Egg Court.

For a thrilling, interactive experience, guests will want to visit The Mad Tea Escape Room, featuring new puzzles for 2019. The escape room tale begins with guests receiving an invitation from an anonymous host for a special Easter Tea at Gaylord Palms. Upon arrival, they will be given an ominous, fun-filled riddle that must be solved by working together and discovering clues to appease the mystery host and escape the never-ending tea party! (Separate admission required. Tickets available at GaylordPalmsTickets.com.)

Relâche Spa invites guests to pair up as parent and child for their Mommy and Me Mani/Pedi experience. The 50-minute mani/pedi includes a mimosa for adults (21+) and a special gift for the kids. (Services for two must be booked together.)

The resort’s grand atriums are known to be filled with flowers and foliage, and during Easter season guests are welcomed with beautiful pastel-colored tulips, daffodils, hyacinth and more blooming alongside giant decorated Easter eggs and a particularly large chocolate bunny. High above the gardens, the atrium “skies” will be bright with a Springtime Light Display, as giant LED light curtains vividly display flowers blooming, bunny rabbits scurrying, shooting stars and spring-colored kaleidoscopes.

Easter Eggstravaganza activities are available on select dates, including March 8-9, 14-16, 20-23, 27-30 and April 11-13, 17-20, 2019. Room packages start at $199 per night, plus tax and resort fee. For additional information or to book your getaway, visit GaylordPalms.com/Getaways.
