We asked Laura Lawton, a certified event planner, to give us the inside scoop on the hottest trends for baby showers and sprinkles. As the owner of BASH Orlando, Laura specializes in designing elevated events and creating memories that will last lifetime.

Here are the baby shower trends and resources at the top of Laura’s list:
Balloons

Simple balloon bunches have given way to much more creative balloon installations with embellishments of every shape and size. Our local balloon artists are constantly coming up with unique offerings, such as custom confetti fills, elaborate vinyl and hand lettering, and creative balloon tails of all kinds. We’re also seeing balloon layering, with custom shades created by balloons within balloons, and even installations inside a balloon itself.

Drink and Dessert Carts

We’re seeing lots of new pop-ups in Central Florida offering champagne service, elaborate grazing spreads and “choc-cuterie” desserts for days. Custom cookies are here to stay, but don’t stop there! Check out these creative vendors who provide full-service drink and dessert design.

Flower Bars

Not only do flower bars go the distance on creating a gorgeous backdrop and conversation piece, but they also provide a unique takeaway your guests will be talking about for days after the event. Floral arranging workshops are another way to create one-of-a-kind visuals combined with an interactive group activity to entertain your guests.

Backyard Backdrops
Nothing beats the comfort of attending a shower at the host’s home. Talented rental companies can help you overhaul a backyard into a stunning set by curating a bespoke outdoor living room lounge. Many of these companies also offer tabletop rentals that pair well with their staple pieces, so be sure to ask about glassware and linens.
